DIY Airmatic Deflation ?
Anyone know how to deflate the airbags in an E500 w211 model ?
I assume its the same for other mercs with airmatic ?
I have read on here the following (but i couldnt work out which hose this person was talking about) -
When you jack the car up, on each of the airbags, you will see a 3/4 inch rubber hose with a clamp going into the airbag.Remove the clamp and with a large screw driver carefully push the hose out about 2-3 millimeters. And then, pull the hose towards you. Make sure all of the air comes out. You will see the airbag contracting.
I found a hose that was about 1-1.5inch and also a small .25 ? inch hose.
any help appreciated.
