05' c230 grinding caliper to fit rims
Hey guys i was wondering if any of you have ever grinded your calipers to fit a rim , im having trouble finding rims that fit and the ones i have my eye on require either grinding the calipers down a bit so the rim clears or adding spacers , could you guys give me some pros and cons of either. ive grinded calipers of older cars before to fit wheels but never messed with a benz , so i just want to make sure before i commit to anything. thx for checking this thread out and any help is appreciated.

There are plenty of wheels that fit the 05 c230, check the wheel thread in the w203 forum. If the wheels you absolutely want, wont clear the brake then go for spacers or a more aggressive offset. Since you have the 05 c230 you have the front Brembo big brake, you don't want to grind that down.
my front wheel is 19x8 with a 32et + 10mm spacer
what wheels were you looking to get???

i cant remember the name , theres 2 sets im looking at , there at a local rim shop. we tried a 7mm spacer , they werent recommending using anything bigger , so your running a 10mm , who makes it? the 10mm should be enough to clear it, thats most likely the route im going to take.
