Steering feels like flooating after changing 17" wheels
Hi, I'm hoping someone can point in the right direction. Two weeks ago, I changed the stock 15" alloys on my C280 to a set of 17" taken from a CLK500. The steering used to be very precise and easy to handle around roads that aren't so even. Now with the new wheels, the steering feels like it's floating around and tend to track the uneveness of road surfaces. I've checked the tyre pressure and they are okay, 31PSI in the front and 33PSI for the rear. The tread on the tyres are all good with at least 80% left. I'm bit perplexed as to what the problem could be. Could someone give me some tips on what to look at?
