need help on tire selection urgently....

Hi all....

I just recently got my 17" AMG style III rims with width of 7.5" front and 8.5" back. From what i have known, i need to use 225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 back.

Now, my question is can i fit 255/40/17 back without rolling the fender at all??? FYI, my car is lowered with eibach pro-kit. And the car is 2003 C200K w203.

As for tires, which one do u recommend??? I need tires that is low on noise and high on grips.

My prefered selections are Conti sport contact 2, Pirelli Pzero Nero, Bridgestone Potenza s03, Dunlop SP9000.

Which one do u guys prefer to suit my need ??? Any other suggestions will be helpfulll...

Cheers....

depends on the weather
do not use the 255 on the rear (it will actually make your car slower 0-60)

I like these tires ( in order )

S-03
P-Zero Nero
Eagle F1 GS-D3
Pilot Sport
P-Zero Rosso

and all would meet your requirements

was that quick enough ????

Luke....

Isn't it that s03 is a bit noisy??? and i've heard that it tends to follow the groove of the road more???

And as for s03, is the tire soft riding or hard riding ??

What do u think about Conti sport contact 2??? i heard that this tires are very quite...and grips...

Between conti and nero, which one ????

Cheers...

The S-03 does tend to track a little but, does not have a noise problem ..... between the Conti and the Nero the Nero is the hands down winner
