I am in NY and have a 2000 e320 4matic wagon. I am about to replace the tires and wheels. I am weighing the pros and cons of high performance all season tires vs max or ultra high performance (non-all season) tirs. Given that I will likely see some snow over the year I can understand the need for an all season tire. But, since I have a 4matic, do I give up much bad weather ability if I step up to a non-all season ultra or max performance tire?

Finally, can anyone give me an estimated value of 4 oem 11 spoke 16 inch wheels in very good condition with Michelin Energy mxv4 tires with lots of life left...
