Tire and Rim size question..

Tire and Rim size question..
Hopefully not too much a basic question but here it goes. I'm thinking about replacing the 16" rims and tires on my 211 E320. If I go taller like 18''s..will this effect the ride? I have now a very nice soft comfortable ride.Will I be sacrificing 'comfort for looks' by going to taller lower profile tires? If not..any suggestions for size to go to and brand of rims and tires?

It will affect the ride if you are going 18 " (Plus2.) The tire sidewall be a lot shorter, hence less tire to absorb bumps. Go onto TireRack or 1010tires for the correct sizing.
