Hi,
I am in market for new tires for my 2006 s55. The sizes are

front: 245/40/19
back: 275/35/19

I drive minimally spirited. No track.

From the reviews I really like continental extreme contact dw(not the dws). My questions are:

Is the load rating of these tires enough to support this car with one or two passengers and no cargo. I beleive the curb wt of this car is 4300 lbs. The label on driver door panel:

GVWR: 5565 LBS
GAWR FRONT 2545 LBS
GAWR REAR 3020 LBS

Specs for the conti dw

front 245/40ZR19
Load Index 94 = 1477lbs (670kg) per tire
Speed Rating “Y” = 186mph (300kph) 94Y SL Treadwear: 340
Traction: AA
Temperature: A340 AA A 1477 lbs

rears 275/35ZR19
Load Index 100 = 1764lbs (800kg) per tire
Speed Rating “Y” = 186mph (300kph) 100Y XL Treadwear: 340
Traction: AA
Temperature: A340 AA A 1464 lbs

Please feel free to chime in.
