Mercedes wheels and TPMS Questions HELP!

Hello everyone, I am visiting the forum more not that I sold my car and focusing a little more on the wife's. She has a ML350 with the stock 19s for now. I am looking to replace them with 22" wheels and I found a set locally.

OK here is the scoop. They are 3 piece wheels, he "says" they were from an R class and they HAVE THE TPMS sensors in them. Is there any way that anyone knows to verify this and will sensors from a R class work on a ML class?

I know the easy answer is "Put them on the car and if there is no warning bell and light you are OK". Well, I refute that because I recently bought a set of wheels and tires from a ML and the guy said the sensors were there. There was no ding and no light for a full day. Then the warning and the option came up saying "no sensors present".

So, that is the reason for my question. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. I will try the wheels before I buy to see if they actually fit and are the correct offset but I really want to try to confirm the sensors.

If I confirm they are there, can I sell my ML sensors do you think? I have the 19s with worn out Continentals.

depends on the weather
the ML uses a slightly higher offset than the GLK so, the GLK wheel will stick out a little further ... not the best fit IMHO

So is my ml350 2008 using a 55 mm offset and this one from the glk is 45 or is it closer than that?

hey ML,

Are you selling your 19" wheels? I currently have 17" but want to upgrade

2008 Ml350
Yup

The stock 19s are pictured above. And here are more pics. Tires are not good maybe 5000 miles left. Price is good tho $650 plus shipping for all 4 wheels and tires.

Or $1450 for the 22" wheels and tires (less than 500 miles)
