E55 and C32 disc rotors
I think both are 13.1" diameter (not sure), but aren't they different?
Need new rotors on my E55, I'd like cross drilled rotors, and C32 rotors look good, but will they fit? Will they work the same?
I know brembo makes 332mm rotors for both care, and that might have to be the way to go for me.
Any input will be appreciated.
W203 C32 = 13.6" rotors (345mm)
W210 E55 = 13.2" rotors (335mm)
W211 E55 = 14.1" rotors (about 358mm... I haven't measured them)
So... obviously none interchange.
And as far as I know, Brembo makes no replacement rotors for any of these cars using the stock calipers. My Brembo application guide may be out of date though, but I would not trust any application guide until seeing the product.
If you want new rotors, you will probably have to get stock replacement rotors at about $400 each.
(If you wait about two weeks, I will probably have cheaper cross-drilled rotors available, at about 1/2 the cost of the W210 E55 rotors.)

How many times do we have to go over this?

I think "KLEEMANN" has once mentioned that the W211 E55 brakes can be fitted on a C32. The problem is not whether they are interchangable or not, rather the E55 8-piston caliper is MUCH heavier than the C32 ones.
We're not talking about replacing calipers.
