Will 19" rims fit on my C280 (W202)??
G'day
I'm looking at replacing my 17" Monoblocks with something bigger and am hoping that I can fit some 19" in their place. The dealers here (in Canberra, OZ) are clueless and are of no help whatsoever!!
So, can I fit some 19" rims on my 1995 C280 (W202)? Any mods necessary?
I've seen 18x8.5 on a similar car but would like to go bigger (just to completely fill out the guard).
FYI: I've got that AMG suspension on the car already so it's sitting pretty low.
Cheers
George

OZ wheels has following rims for you (as excample)
max @ 18"
10 x 18 ET 27 with 245/35R18 HA
max @ 19"
8 x 19 ET 35 with XXX (They are preparing them, so no sice for the tires yet... sorry)
(ET = Einpresstiefe, sorry no idea how to translate that)
€dit:
Einpresstiefe null = zeroset
Einpresstiefe {f} = offset
??

Yiasou George, 19X8.5 in the front and 19X9.5 in the rear is as large as you can go is what I have been told with an ET35 offset. It's the same on an E class only your can put 10'' rims on the rear of an E. You will have to roll fenders in the front and I don't really know about the rear. Post some pics. when you complete your upgrade.
