How do Yokohama AVS Sport compare to Continental Conti sport 2 in terms of handling, milage, noise etc...? I noticed that tirerack doesnt have reviews/survey on the contis yet. Thanx
A friend of mine has the Yoko's AVS Sport on his BMW E39 530 and the grip on those are great! Cornering as well as handling. As far as mileage don't know he just got them a few weeks ago. As for the Conti not really sure.

the AVS Sports will handle better but, the Conti's will offerbetter ride quality and tire life. The AVS's do also tend to get a little noisey as they wear.

I had AVS Sports and I loved them- I wanted to get 'em again, but I'd heard such wonderful (and true) things about the Bridgestone S-03s, which are better. The AVSs are some of the best looking tires out there, though- both parked and moving. Their tread makes 'em look rather like slicks when they're moving

I have to agree. I have the AVS Sports on my C240 and the one comment I ALWAYS get about my car are is that the tread on the tires looks awesome. Everyone looks at them and just stares. I've have mine for about 10,000 miles and they are incredible. Yes, they do get a little noisy on certain roads, but for the most part they are quiet.
