2008 C350 18" AMG wheels Corroded!

2008 C350 18" AMG wheels Corroded!

So I just picked up my 08 C350 with the nicer 18" wheels. Absolutely love the car!! It's only got 23000 miles on it but the rims already have a little bit of corrosion near the centre cap.

I really need your help. I'm planning on driving through a Toronto winter with these rims. How can I remove this corrosion, and prevent the upcoming salty slushy winter from corroding the rims further? Can I rustproof the rims? Or should I just get winter rims?

Not sure if the corrisions can be polished out. They will have to be repainted.

I suggest you go back to the dealership, they should repaint it under warranty.
