2003 sl 500 launch edition
2003 mercedes benz sl 500 Akebono brake pads vs oem

see a lot of posts like the Akebono pads. would you suggest these over oem replacement?
if i just need the rears, is it ok to have oem on the front until they need replacing and the akebono on the back?
i show the EUR986 or the W0133-1791781 will fit the back. is the only difference is that the W0133-1791781 comes with a 12/12000 warranty?
i have an early production model so i show W0133-1609801 for the front which list as a euro model, but has a W0133 model number. would one of the rear pads match this front better?
parts.com suggested changing the sensors too while changing the pads. i assume this is one per wheel? they carry oem, i also found Beck/Arnley Brake Pad Sensor Wire Part No: 084-1526, are these ok?
thanks.
