Tire width

I have a 2005 E 500, and I'm about to buy some new rims. Whats the overall effect if I put on smaller tires then needed? For example, im about to buy 19inch tires and they're 235-35-19 instead of 245-35-19 and the rear are 265-30-19. 19x8 and 19x9. Is it bad for my car or will I be ok?

It will change your speedometer and odometer reading. How much can be calculated by simple math. HTH

you should be fine. on my W210 i went from 235 to 245 up fronts and 265 to 275 in the rear. the 245s had some clearance issues, so i went back to 235's but the 275's in the rear worked just fine.
