CLK55 Cab
New suspension for CLK55
I currently have a 208 CLK55 cabriolet, with 19 inch rims and am hoping to lower it soon. I am interested in something that can lower the car about an inch or so(or is adjustable). I am looking for quality mainly so price is not a huge issue. I have heard that H&R springs with Koni shocks is the best way to go. I am looking mainly for better handling, with roughly the same comfort level(if this is possible). Thanks in advance

If you want good handling and a comfortable ride, I would strongly suggest you to get the Brabus full suspension. It is EXACTLY of what you want. It consists of 4 shocks absorbers + 4 springs. I think it is better than the Koni + H&R combo. And it costs pretty much the same as you buy the other two separately.

Out Of Control!!
H&R springs with Koni adjustable shocks will run you $700-$800. That is a great setup for your car. The ultimate setup would be the Kleemann suspension, which is both more comfortable than your stock suspension, and handles far greater than stock. I have had both on my CLK.
