Brake Pad change for W203 2001

Hi,

I am in the UK and am in need of replacement brake pads on my 2001 W203 C Class. The car (as you all know) has ABS/BAS/ESP and wear sensors. I got a quote from MB for the work and it was over 2x as expensive as on of the UK's major fitting companies (Mr Clutch & Brake). My question is whether the fitting of the pads is a specialist job best left to MB bue to all the sensors etc or is it a job I could entrust to the cheaper (better value for money!!) outfit??

Are there any "watch-out's" I should hilight to them to make sure they do a good job?

Cheers,

Paul

Changing pads should be simple at any shop. Typically, Mercedes dealers are more expensive than independent shops.
