Which tires last the longest???
So...
I read the sticky FAQ and Which Tires are Best...
But I was wondering if anyone knew which tires lastest the longest. Just from casual driving wear and tear.
I figure this would be more important to most of the forum members as we are usually not racing, not driving 130+ mph, and not tracking the car.
I am currently using Toyo T1-R 245x35x19 Front 275x30x19 Rear
and they don't seem to last too long.

Hi Luke, seems like Tirerack does not carry Cont. Extreme Contact DWS for my 255/40/19 wheels, I end up settled for Bridgestone AS pole instead.

Basically any tire that has a Uniform Tire Quality Grade (UTQG) rating of 540 or higher will last the longest. The Pirelli PZero's that came on our cars was rated 220 UTQG, by comparison. And they only lasted seven months for me. They were great tires for summer, but just wore out too soon.

Generally, it's the tires that you wish would wear out faster that last the longest.
While wear may be an important component, I don't think you should be making a decision with it being the only factor. (or even a major factor, imho - what's the fun in that?)
