Could those of you that have used competition tires please share good and bad experiences alike?
I am looking for something I could drive to and from the events with. I like to get ones that are already heat cycled and shaved.

On my 1999, C280 sport I ran 235/40/17 Kumho Escta V700 on the front and 255/40/17 Kumho Victorracers on the rear.
They have great grip and I thought pretty good ride and noise qualities. I used them for canyon work and put like 3500 miles on them. They still have about 3/32" tread left.
They are good for like 5-6 mph through the corners and are very predictable. I wish I could run them all the time.
