I'm replacing my stock rims with a nice pair of aftermarket rims! Can someone explain offset to me? If I install rims with a larger offset than my stock what type of look will I have if any? I was asssured that they will fit.

Stock offset Front 25mm Rear 28mm
Aftermarket Front 30mm Rear 34mm

Thanks in advance.

the higher the offset, the further in the wheel sits. Be careful with caliper clearance.

I just put on my new wheels and I hate them. I'm go to get a set of 20s". Do anyone know the correct offset for 20s?

I want to run a 265-30 front and 285-30 rear.

You have a cls55.. do it right 20x9 255/30/20 & 20x10.5/11 305/25/20 offset should be mid 20 front and high 20 rear, give or take. MY boy just put on a set +24 front +28 rear and it sits perfect with his lowering

Thanks in advance.
On my CLS, when I had Vossen's on the offsets were 25 front, 30 rear with 20's.
