Will W204 / C350 wheels fit on my W209 / CLK320
Looking for some assistance here. Looking to replace my current W209 / CLK320 wheels and tires, with wheels and tires from a W204 / C350.
Here are the details.
The W209 / CLK320 wheels are:
Front wheels: 16x7" ET37
Tires: 205/55R16
Rear Wheels: 16x8" ET32
Tires: 225/50R16
The W204 / C350 wheels are:
Front wheels: 18x8" ET50
Tires: 225/40R18
Rear Wheels: 18x8.5" ET54
Tires: 255/35R18
How can I make this work?

Only MBs - the best or nothing
W204 wheels will NOT fit W209 (or W203) cars.
However, they can be "made" to fit, if you so desire.
For them to work, the following is needed:
1. You will need to run 15-20mm H&R spacers both front and rear, contrary to what anyone tells you, its obsolutely safe to do so;
2. You will need to find bolts to fit W204 wheels' holes (14mm) but having thread of 12mm for W209 - 14mm head bolts with 12x1.5 tread - these are not easy to obtain.
Tires from W204 will fit W209 just fine.
I would look elsewhere - there are a lot of choices to find wheels that will fit right.
