Wink performance+ Suspension upgrade for '98 C43 AMG?

Hi all, I like to know what suspension mods you guys recommend for my '98 C43 AMG. I am planning on the H&R Sport springs, what do you recommed for the shocks? I have heard the AMG Euro Bilstein shocks, and KONI adjustable... not sure what all is out there, any adjustable coilover setups? How about sway bars? the car feel a little too soft for me, coming from a '95 and '02 M3, this ting rides like a boat also who makes strut tower braces to stiffen up the chassis?

Ok, now on the performance side, what performance parts are out there? exhaust systems? intake? I am also looking at a set of 19" wheels, what's the largest 19" application I can go with? I have heard 19x8.5 w/ 235/35/19 and 19x9.5 w/ 265/30/19, can anyone confirm?

Again, the C43 is new to me, but I can't wait to start modifying it! please feel free to email me at geoffm3@hotmail.com for all the great info, thanks!!

I would run the H&R springs and the Koni shocks or the H&R cup kit for this car. There are no adjustable coilovers kits available in this country b/c the springs and shocks are located separate in the front and the rear, while the M3s run a strut in the front and spring/shock in the back. The only anti roll kits are for the C230/280 cars.

I have not seen any strut braces for these cars because the shock tower mounts aren't exposed in the engine bay like most cars (like the M3 for example).

You are correct about the tire sizing.

Strut tower brace

Strut tower brace are made for car with "strut" (macpherson) type of suspension, in which the strut (all in one spring and shock assembly) will have to deal with the increased lateral load during cornering or loading which might cause strut to frame flexing/movement. The strut tower brace is designed to reduce this flexing caused by the aforementioned cause.

In C43 which uses multi-link front suspension set-up tying the top of the two front shocks (even if possible) will not really do anything since the shock absorber only have to deal with up/down movement.
