Upsizing tire opinions for AMG 20" wheels please?

Upsizing tire opinions for AMG 20" wheels please?
Wanted to get some views on if I can get away with this:
Upsizing my tires for GLK AMG 20" wheels because:
1) Wanted to protect rims with higher profile
2) More tire choices in new up size
Current: 235/45/20
New? : 255/45/20
Issue:
According to the Miata.net tire conversion site I would be going about 1.5 mph faster than the odometer shows or 2.5% which is acceptable by me.
But not sure about rubbing or anything else?
