WANTED New 14" Wheels (230SL?) for my '62 190SL
Hello:
I want to replace the factory steel 13 inch wheels on my '62 190SL with the factory steel 14" wheels from a (230SL?).
I don't know what I am doing, except I know the wheels are disproportionately too small for the car and larger wheels and tires will make a marked asthetic improvement in my opinion.
Apparently, this upgrade is done by others and, I am looking for advice as to, 14" factory steel wheels for sale (would prefer new) any changes or mods necessary (will the 190SL hubcaps fit?, What all different models of Mercedes 14" wheels lug pattern will fit please?)
Are there different sized widths in factory steel 14" wheels that will fit the 190SL please?
And, most important, assuming that 14" wheels will fit the 190SL, what are the LARGEST TIRE SIZE that I will be able to mount please without rubbing / bottoming out under normal driving please?
Anyone have a set of 4 (5) factory steel (230SL?) wheels that will fir for sale please? Recommendations?
Anyone's kind assistance is very, very much appreciated. Thanks. Thomas

I tried to join a week ago and have not yet received their response. Either the holiday or, maybe you need to pass a background check... or ? Thanks though. Thomas
