Pressure loss sensor, runflat tires questions
Did a bit of reading up on older threads alraedy but still a wee bit confused. We have these questions for our 2011 C200. Some pictures attached:
- In the services menu there is the run flat indicator
- there aren't devices attached to the wheel valves - I'm guessing the sensors must be the indirect/inertia detection type on this vehicle?
- I can't quite tell whether the factory fitted tires are runflats (Michelin Primacy HP) - they don't have ZP or similar letters. Do all C's get runflats by defaults (NZ)? Just curious really
TIA!

depends on the weather
where are you located?
All of the 2011 W204 C-class cars which comes to North America have a direct tire pressure monitoring system which uses a sensor attached to the end of valve stem inside of the tire. They also do not come with runflat tires.
All Michelin runflat tires are identified with a "ZP" marking on the sidewall
