Wider rubber
What are the pros and cons of using wider tires on an SUV, like the G-Class? The G55 used to ship with 285/55/18 tires and now come with 275/50/20 (9.5J). I'm considering using slightly wider tires (295/45/20) to help with braking distance and off-road performance on soft sand. Does this make sense?
