2013 E350 Wagon, prev 2005 ML 500 SE
![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Hi,
1. for 2012/2013, does MB use the same 433 mhz TPMS unit across the lineup?
I'll have a 2013 E350 Wagon and on a second set of winter wheels, will any MB 433 mhz unit or aftermarket MB 433 substitute unit work?
2. any way to NOT mount TPMS on my winter wheels and stop the small warning
light (tire pressure low) and probably a bigger warning light ( zero tire pressure or not reading any TPMS signals) from being on?
Anybody make a fake TPMS transmitter to mount under the dash to signal that tire pressure is ok?
FYI, I check my tire pressure weekly so wish TPMS wasn't even on the factory wheels.
Thanks

No, Schrader makes them for a lot of different brands and the pricing is all over the board, the OE sometimes requires different functions from the sensor, so I assume the price goes up.
