Shocking Tire Wear, Dangerous.

E550, S550, Clk 350
Shocking Tire Wear, Dangerous.
I found this yesterday on my 2007, E550. It us came out of nowhere it seems.
one day they seem fine then, this.
22K on these tires which is a bunch for me. But still I should have seen the wear coming, but I didn't and that worries me. I always check.
Do you think there is a massive tow in problem, the front are same age and of course show little wear. I do not drive the car hard, Have a V12 Ferrari for that, and every 4000 miles it needs new tires.
The tires are Pilot sport AS, or AB, brain dead at the moment.
I have had the car from new and did not expect this sort of crazy wear on the back. I mean there are slick tires and then this ,and to me this is crazy stoooopid. It is dealer only serviced, and nobody said "hey lets check the tow in , as these cars are famous for it".
Just got lucky and spotted them.

depends on the weather
to me it looks like you have an alignment issue ... it may be minor as the tires have 22k on them or it could be major and just atarted happening in the last couple of hundred miles .. has the cars handling noticeably changed recently?
