Replace Rotors at 21k Miles?!?!
I took my '07 CLK 550 to the dealership after getting the brake pad warning and my service adviser tried to tell me my front rotors were right at spec and should be replaced.
There is not a single inkling of vibration from the front so they don't appear warped at all (they are cross-drilled), but I could tell the pads were getting low even before the warning came on.
I just turned over to 21K miles, so I told him to just do the pads. He then said that I may not get the full life out of the pads, but I stuck to my guns.
What do you folks think?
