tire recommendation
Driving 07 S600. Previous owner replaced oem tires at 16,000 miles with Michelin Pilot Primacy tires. These tires have about 34,000 and have plenty of mileage left, but are noisy as hell. Don't see these tires are available in my size any more. Want good traction, comfort (low noise) are important. Summer type since I don't drive this car in snow. Any recommendations.
Sizes are: Front 255/45/18 Rear 275/45/18.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport would be the #1 choice

Luke is obviously the expert here but I will ditto the Continental idea. I didn't get the mileage out of mine that I'd like but the car rode much better (ConiProContact) than the BF Goodrich I replaced them with.

I have the Conti ExtremeContract DWS (all-season) and have found them to be quieter than the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S or the Michelin Primacy tires. 45 series? How about getting some 19" wheels?
