Michelin MXM4 Front, Michelin XGT Rear...
Just noticed my replacement E500 (received 7/24) has the MXM4 on the front and the XGT on the rear. Would there be a reason for doing this? I'm wondering if the dealership just swapped some tires for someone. (This is sorta cross-posted in the W211 forum.)

Chris, you should have a small sheet of paper (it's really small) that includes ALL THE EQUIP for you car in dealer code, VIN# AND the TIRES that were fitted at the factory. I checked mine to be sure mine CAME with the Conti's this SECOND time.. and sure enough they were. I was thinking they were messing with me and changed them out at the dealer.
I couldn't find mine then found it tucked in a pocket in the owners' binder (top half). Check that...
