2002 Benz C240
![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I ordered 15mm rear wheel adaptor for the 18's I bought. I havent mounted any suggestion on what length bolt I should use. I have two sets that came with the car. one set is rounded the other one is not. I dont want to use ones that are too long for obvious reason of screwing up the emergency brakes. Any suggestions will be great. My benz is a 2002 c240.

Not sure which ones to use, but be sure that you keep a set that match your spare. The PO put a set of 20's on my CL but the bolts are too short to use with the spare tire. Not something you want to find out sitting in a parking lot with a flat.

Look in the bolt holes of your wheels and spacers and identify the seat type, then match up the bolts. Make sure you have enough shank length to get them to bite in safely on both. You are going to need to do some test fitting, so first remove the wheel and see how far the lug bolt sticks out the back so you can keep the same thread bite, then if it's sufficient add 15mm to the shank length of that bolt to account for the spacer and you will know what size bolt you need.
