I am selling my stock AMG wheels off of my CLK 430 W208, 17x7.5 and 17x8.5; and this guy with a S class is asking me whether they will work on his S class or not... Anyone has any experience fitting CLK wheels on a S class?

I'd guess that since S wheels don't fit CLK cars, the answer would be no.

from my understanding, S class uses 14mm bolts, and CLk uses 12mm bolts, in that respect, that means the holes will be relative to those bolt sizes.

With custom made bolts & spacers, you'll be able to fit S class wheels on a CLK.

But, since the S class requires larger bolts, I don't think you can fit larger bolts in a smaller hole...

Thats my thought at least... maybe the hole has enough slack to make it fit...

Spacers won't help, the offset on the CLK rims is already 9-14mm too low, and spacers just move it farther away.

No, it doesn't... the 14mm bolt will not fit through the hole without drilling it.

since nobody mentioned it, I tought I would point out that the load capacity of the wheel is also an issue if trying to install a CLK wheel on an S-Class ...

good point... i guess most people don't think about the wheel's load capcity much...
