Exclamation Will these rims fit on my S?!? F: 19x9 245/40; R: 19x10 275/40, 2000 S430

Front: 19x9 245/40/19
Rear: 19x10 275/40/19

Lug pattern is 5 lugs at 105mm between 1st and 3rd

depends on the weather
245/40-19 will work on the front
275/40-19 will not work on the rear (it should be 275/35-19)
the needed bolt pattern is 5-112

fitting a 9" wide wheel on the front will not be easy ... I recommend 8.5" fornt wheels with a 35mm offset

to use that 10" wheel in the back you will need approxiamtely a 45mm offset

I FOUND OUT THAT THE REAR IS ACTUALLY 275/35-19... SO SINCE THEY ARE 245/40/19 IN THE FRONT AND 275/35/19 IN THE BACK IS THAT OK? THE FRONT IS 9" AND THE BACK IS 10"... I KNOW YOU SAID I MAY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE 9 IN THE FRONT... IN WHAT WAY? AND WOULD THEIR BE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE REAR? WOULD IT BE BEST FOR ME TO JUST TRY THE 4 RIMS ON THE CAR AND IF SO, WHAT TESTS SHOULD I PERFORM TO TEST IF THEY ARE AN OK FIT (U-TURNS, HIT SMALL BUMPS, LOOK AND FEEL, ETC.???)

ANYWAY, THANKS FOR THE QUICK RESPONSE... ANOTHER ONE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

what is the offset of the wheels ???? that is what you need to find out ....... the 10 in the rear will work fine with the 275/35 tire sizse if the offset is approx. 45mm ......

sounds like the guy selling doesn't understand plain english when you just ask him for the offset..

he should be able tell you the offset straight up about the offset witthout giving you all that lecture above..

Like Luke said ET45mm would be fine, either have that offset or you might have some problem later on (i.e: rubbing, etc)...

Also since the wheel spec is 19x10 for the rear how can the measurement result in rear outside 3 3/4" and rear inside 6 3/4"
when you add up these number that meant the wheels's width is 10.5" ..??

Or you could tell the seller just to find stamp with ET XX

this XX should represent offset number

Regardz,
