Just got a set of 18" (8 front, 9 rear)
How wide of a tire will fit without ANY rubbing?
Any suggestion on a nice deal (brand)?
Car is not lowered, but if I do, then should I roll the fenders?

depends on the weather
you will have a hard time putting a 8/9 combo on a w124 without rubbing ...... especially since the tire sizing to correctly match the needed diameter is 225/40-18 front and 255/35-18 rear
