Angry Pirelli P7000 Supersport

Have two sets of tires on my W210 -
235/45R17 93Y Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
225/55R16 94W Pirelli P7000 Supersport

This doesn't make sense to me, but I've noticed, believe it or not, that the 17 inchers ride better than the 16's! This used to not be the case when I was comparing the Pirellis to the standard Goodyear Eagle F1's that came on the car, but since I've put on the Pilots, the ride with the lower profile 17 inchers is actually better! Both sets of tires have about the same about of tread left, and my tires are never out of balance... the 7000's are getting loud, too.

anybody have similar experience with this tire??

Not surprising at all. P7000 is one of the WORST tires in the world. Noisy, rough, poor in dry and on wet. The only good thing about it is the price.

depends on the weather
the P7000 is a very harsh noisy tire so, I am not surprised by your revelation

if you decide to replace them use this link for ordering

From your experience, Luke (or anybody else), what would you recommend me to do this winter? I have to survive a Canadian winter, so would you stick with the pilot sports on the 17's or use the P7000's on the 16's? I'm learning towards the 16's, since common sense tells me a higher sidewall will run better for me in the snow, but for some reason I'm having second thoughts...any opinions?
