I just bought a good running Mercedes. Awesome car. One problem though is that the brake petal amost goes to within 1 in of the floor boards when depressed but it is solid and the car stops fine.. If I pump it, it comes up somewhat. I removed the left front Tire and looked at the pads. There is plenty of pad left.
I figure it could be as simple as having the brakes bleed but am not sure. I called Mercedes and they said I need to do a brake flush. That doesn't sound right.
Any suggestions?
