want more value in your tire purchase from Tire Rack?
Effective immediately, when you purchase tires from Tire Rack, all qualifying retail tire(s) orders shipped and billed within the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii (APO/FPO/DPO and U.S. territories are excluded), will come with Tire Rack’s 24-month Tire Road Hazard Protection at no additional charge.
The Tire Rack 24-month Tire Road Hazard Protection will offer reimbursement for flat tire repair up to $25.00 per tire per occurrence, and/or tire replacement up to the tire purchase price on the original order or the replacement tire price, whichever is less, not to exceed a maximum of $410.00, plus ground shipping costs (FE2 to Alaska and Hawaii), if the replacement tire is shipped from Tire Rack.
Tire Rack 24-Month Road Hazard Protection Summary
- Included on tires of $410 or less.
- Coverage is in effect for 24 months, and only applies to the original owner.
- Coverage is 100% reimbursement for the 24 months.
- Coverage includes reimbursement up to $25 per tire repair per occurrence, see exclusions below.
- Coverage is for damage from typical road hazards, such as punctures or pot hole damage, but does not replace or cover the manufacturer's warranty for defects.
- The Road Hazard Protection is not available for LT Metric, LT Flotation, Trailer or Competition tires or any tires purchased under the Continental Employee Purchase Program.
- Protection included for customers in the U.S. (50 states) and shipping within the U.S. (50 states), excludes APO/FPO/DPO or US Territories.
- Tires with a manufacturer’s road hazard warranty of less than 24 months will include the Tire Rack 24-month Tire Road Hazard Protection to supplement the remaining months not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Exception Summary
- Eligible tire(s) for Porsches, BMWs, Nissan GT-Rs, and any other vehicles the manufacturer of which recommends against repairing tires, and all Continental-brand and General-brand Eligible Tires, have primary replacement coverage (see Tire Replacement section attached) and will be reimbursed for replacement.
Exclusions Summary
- Competition tires, LT Metric tires, LT Flotation tires, or trailer tires.
- Repair or replacement of any tire(s) used or installed on motorcycles, trailers, or on vehicles used for competitive driving or racing, track driving, police or emergency service, snow removal, carriage of passengers for hire, commercial towing, construction, or postal service.
