I have the Nero's in on my 19's. I love them so far. I've had the 7000ss before as well and they are alot harder and don't stick near as well. However they will no doubt last 5-10,000 more miles.
So which do you want miles or grip???

Perelli should be PIRELLI
Pirelli doesn't offer a P9000, right?... i swore you had Dunlop P9000 on your CLK
I hear the Nero is a great tire, but all Pirelli tires have poor thread wear... oh, a lot of people also complain that pirelli tires have weak sidewalls (lots of bubbles)...
oh, and P7000SS gets real loud after the tire starts to die...

i have the 19" P7000's on my car right now, and if i were gonna buy new rims/tires right now, I would NOT choose the P7000's again. They are way too loud. For the price, the Nitto555 are pretty decent. Even the Kuhmo 712's are a good deal.

since we are offering personal experiences on tires... I'm quite content with my Yokohama AVS Sports right now... pretty quiet, but the tires are still fairly new... not a whole lotta mileage on them yet...
But, I did sit in a buddy's car with the same type of tires, and his tires were about bald, and it still was fairly quiet, so it reinforced my decision to purchase & install the AVS Sports on my CLK...

I have Nitto 555 on my Audi and I can tell you they are GAhhBAge I cant believe I was so cheap not to pay extra for better tires. P7000 are also bad tires. Noisy w/no grip....

Okay, well lets see, I love them!!!! The first thing I notice was how quite they were, and I mean WHAT a DIFFERENCE, the noise level decreased dramatically!!!
DId not have time to try out the grip... I am getting old... after 2 weeks with the new tires, I had to take out my 19's and put back my 17's...
The ride was just too harsh for my old bones...
heck I am even thinking of selling the 19's....
But as for the tire, I love them!!
