Has anybody found a way to get a spare tire in a new E55? It only comes with a tirefit kit but I would rather have a real spare. I know I could buy a regular size front wheel and tire but that won't fit in the spare tire well which is only 8" deep and would take up a lot of trunk space if left in the upper trunk. I have found a few 18x7 wheels but haven't found a tire with a narrow enough section width to fit in the storage well. The regular E series minispare won't clear the bigger brakes on the E55. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks

I do not know of anything that would fit and not create a buldge because of the tire width

Thanks Luke. I finally looked under the trunkliner and the battery would have to be relocated to use the spare tire well anyway. I will just have to carry the spare in the main trunk compartment.
