DIY: How to change ABC Accumulators
Hi all
I recently changed out all my ABC Accumulators on my 215 CL55 AMG.
I made a guide, which should be pretty similair for all ABC equipped cars (230, 220, 215). The 230 will require more effort to get to the accumulators, but after that its the same.

Excellent writeup. I have the W220 model but everything pretty much looks the same. One question did you need a STAR DAS system to accomplish this task?

Thanks, No STAR/DAS is not required for this. If you have many failed accumulators though it may be an idea to ensure your oil is on the high side before starting as they will hold a lot of fluid. You dont want to start the engine and let the ABC Res run dry. Its the ingestion of air that causes pump failures.
