Previous owner allowed the bushing to go bad on my 2004 SL55. To the point that I just feel safer swapping the arms out completely.

What problem/pitfalls will I encounter with ABC? Should system be drained prior to strut removal? I have done several searches. Maybe my wording is amiss.
