ML55 amg 2000, need tyre help!

I own a 2000 ML55 AMG and I have to change the tires on it because they are very worn;

the problem is that the original size (285/50 R18) is not available at all in egypt!

The only 2 sizes available in egypt are:

Continental: 255/55 R18

or

Goodyear: 265/60 R18

Which would better fit my ML for handling and high speeds?

depends on the weather
here are the 2 sizes that would work correctly

285/50-18
285/55-18

the sizes you listed may not have the proper load capacity, diameter, or internal construction

you may have to downgrade to 17 inch wheels on the ML430/500 then. Or get someone to ship tires to egypt. How is it there, I haven't been back since 1994, would love to back soon.
