I just checked my front brake pads on my 2001 clk320 as I am getting a faint high pitched squeal - the pads measured 4mm thick. can someone give the minimum spec on these and is that thin enough to activate the squeal material, if they have any???
otherwise the brakes are working perfect, no surge,etc.
