The manual for E55 specifies 245/40 front and rear for winter. When I search the Tirerack website for E55, it points me to hte same sizes for summer and winter --- front 245/40 rear 265/35.

BTW what exactly are M&S tires. I sometimes see M&S on all seasons and not always on snow tires.

 

while for true snow conditions it is better to have all four tires the same width.
