C230 brake squealing.
Hello everyone, I am new here and hope I am posting in the right area. Anyways, I have a 2002 C230.
Every time I brake the brakes squeal only on the passenger rear. The person I bought the car from said a piece was floating.
I think he was referring to the shoes. Is there any way to assess what I have going on and move on from there to fixing the problem?

a brake squeal is caused by the brake pads vibrating. Vibrations can be caused by many things like incorrect installation, worn or bad retainers or excessive wear. Have a qualified technician take a look at the pads.
