I am trying to find out what kind of snow tires are available in 18" sizes. I was not able to find any on the TireRack site for my car.

I have an 03 c32 and I am going to be putting a big brake kit that will prevent me from being able to put 17" wheels on the car. I currently have the michelin winter sport and I like them very much.

I know my traction with the 18" will be worse but I do not use the car much in the winter and very rarely when it snows. However, I do need the ability to be able to drive it for a few miles or so and also in case I get caught in a snowstorm somewhere.

Can anybody help me with this. Ideally I would like to buy the 18" AMG replicas and put snow tires on them and keep these as my winter set.

The HRE's that I plan on getting will keep me cool in the summer

what brake kit and how big is it .... I know 17's can clear my 332mm Stoptech kit

I've got Pirelli wintersport 240s on my 03 S55 (18" wheels). Very effective.

It is the Brembo 14" 355mm BBK. I don't know if there are any 17" wheels that will fit it. I am pretty sure my stock AMG's will not.

I am planning on 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. What size tires will fit on there? I am not sure what I am running on my 17's right now. I can check exactly but I know that the size is significantly less than my summer tire size. Handling is a little weird and it does drift a little on the highway >80mph (sometimes it feels like there is wind buffeting when there is no wind). But I can live this type of handling.

What would you recommend?

you are correct ..... 17" wheels will not clear a 355mm big brake kit .... here is a winter tire recommendation for you
