Advice for all fours 225/45/17

Would someone please tell me a tire that I can use on all four wheels that would provide a quiet ride and could be used for all seasons? I'm not a speed racer but sometimes I like seeing what the car can do but for the most part I keep it under 80 mph. A guy at tirerack told me that the Conti extreme contacts would be a good choice but now I'm hearing different fom someone on this site. Please advise.

any consideration in the treadwear of the tires? I'm using RE750 from Bridgestone which has great treadwear rating (380) and still very good performance overall. It's a little bit on the noisy side tho.
