I'm planning on purchasing a set of 20" 3-piece wheels from HRE (20x9 - F and 20x11 - R) for my R230 SL500.

Is 20x11 too wide in the rear? Can you recommend a good tire (brand and size) that TireRack sells that will not rub and somewhat maintain the smooth ride?

Lorinser uses LM6 20x11 on R230. It all depends on the offset and spacers. I believe TireRack has great choices of tires.
