Rim repaired but still have oscillations
I got the car back today and it did feel better. However, it is still there. Especially between 20-30 MPH. It's especially bad at 22-24 MPH. Where it improved is < 20 and highway speeds. You would be surprised how often you spend going 22-24 MPH.
Most of the damage was on the inside of the rim. The front has a slight rub on the wheel edge. This did not look any different when I got the car back. They also balanced the car.
Some people may not notice it but it's driving me nuts! It hits my subconscious rather hard when it goes off. My old VW I traded in with 140,000 miles was so smooth and solid when it came to the suspension and wheels.
Can rims really be repaired?
Could it be something else?
I'm thinking of putting the spare on to see if I can tell if it is the front or back wheel.
