Decisions....18, 19, or 20 inch rims?

CL coupe....or any car for that fact, what is the best rim size to get assuming in my area....roads arent the greatest....
20s will make braking, acceleration, and handling crap? I do alot of interstate driving, so maybe those arent so good of an idea?
How about 19s? Stretching it? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

they say you can fit 20s but i think it's over-doing it, stick with 19s.

The best fitment for the CL is 8.5" rims up front and 9.5" in rims in the rear.

Personally I think 19's are the best all around choice. If you roads are not good though, keep in mind that you most likly will bend some rims here and there since the sidewalls will provide less protection once you go to 19's and even less if you were to use 20's.

Potholes are your worst enemy.

Talking 19"

19"s for driving, 20"s for show.

Interstate driving, 19" will be good enough. How about getting another set of 20" for fun???

20's might not be practical, but they sure look nice

There is no point to change it if you were to get 18's. Stick with stock or AMG. 20's will look good for sure. But if you have bad roads, go for 19's. Remember, 20" tires are SUPER expensive too!!

depends on the weather
I would say 19's for practicality ... driving around on 20's is extremely uncomfortable for most people and the potential for wheel damage is higher as well .....

and on a side note the white CL posted above looks ... ridiculous ... those wheel do not even fit the car correctly ... the wheel sticks out past the fender so much that they are running a huge amount of negative camber just to get them to clear ....

Well, I ended up going with 20s. Lowenhart LD5. I got them 2 months used with Toyo T1S's for 2500 shipped, which is a deal and a half. I figure if I dont like the ride, etc. I can easily sell them for that and get something smaller.
